About ADAOZ

About our Cardano stake pool in Australia.

ADAOZ is an Australian Cardano stake pool minting blocks since 20 February 2021. Well-maintained, security-first, and focused on giving back to Cardano rather than chasing the biggest number.

Powered by renewables

Infrastructure runs on renewable-powered data centres. Cardano's proof-of-stake already cuts energy to a fraction of proof-of-work — we go further by choosing greener hosts.

Hardened security

Cold keys offline, hardware-backed signing, restricted SSH access, and continuous monitoring on every relay. The block-producer node is never directly exposed.

Redundant relays

Multiple geographically distributed relays with health monitoring. If one drops, your delegation keeps minting on the next.

Cardano Ambassador · Midnight Ambassador · Founder, Mesh With Us · Host, Learn Cardano

I started ADAOZ in February 2021 because I wanted Australians to have a local pool to delegate to, and because I wanted to learn how Cardano really worked from the inside out.

Five years later I'm still running the pool, still publishing on Learn Cardano, and building Cardano and Midnight apps via Mesh With Us. Delegating to ADAOZ funds the time it takes to review governance, interview builders, and turn that into content anyone can learn from.

Cardano × Midnight

Earn ADA today. NIGHT tokens on the way.

Midnight is Cardano's privacy-focused sidechain. When NIGHT token allocations open up to Cardano stakers, ADAOZ delegators will earn $NIGHT rewards on top of their ADA, just for staying delegated.

Peter is one of the Midnight Ambassadors covering the launch, so ADAOZ delegators get a front-row view of what's happening on the new chain — and the rewards that come with being early.

Cardano and Midnight pairing — yin-yang of the two networks.
Stake ADA

Delegate ADA to ADAOZ — Australia's Cardano stake pool.

Connect your Cardano wallet and delegate on-chain in two clicks. First-time delegators pay a one-off 2 ₳ stake-key registration deposit — refunded if you ever de-register.

Works with Lace, Eternl, Nami, Typhon, NuFi, Begin, Yoroi — any CIP-30 wallet. We never see your keys.

Curious what you could earn? Use the Cardano staking calculator to project your ADA rewards over time — including weekly DCA.
Prefer to delegate from inside your wallet?
  1. Open your Cardano wallet (Lace or Eternl recommended).
  2. Go to the staking / delegation panel.
  3. Search the ticker ADAOZ and select the pool.
  4. Confirm. First-time delegators pay a one-off 2 ₳ stake-key registration; you get it back if you ever de-register.
Frequently asked

Cardano staking questions, answered.

If you're new to Cardano or just want to double-check how delegating works, start here. Got a question that isn't covered? Send Peter a message.

What is a Cardano stake pool?

A Cardano stake pool is a node that holds the combined stake of many ADA holders and produces blocks on the Cardano blockchain on their behalf. Delegators earn ADA rewards roughly every five days; the pool operator takes a small margin and fixed fee per epoch.

How do I delegate ADA to a Cardano stake pool?

Open a Cardano wallet (Lace, Eternl, Nami, Typhon, NuFi, Begin, or Yoroi), go to the staking panel, search the pool ticker (for ADAOZ, search ADAOZ), and confirm. First-time delegators pay a one-off refundable 2 ₳ stake-key registration deposit.

Is delegating ADA safe?

Yes. Delegating is non-custodial: your ADA never leaves your wallet. You're only pointing your stake at a pool — the pool operator cannot spend, move, or freeze your funds. You can re-delegate or de-register at any time.

How long until I earn my first staking rewards?

Rewards take two to three epochs to start flowing — roughly 10 to 15 days after your first delegation. After that you earn rewards every epoch (~5 days) automatically; no claiming needed.

What is the minimum amount of ADA to stake?

There's no minimum to delegate, but very small wallets earn proportionally small rewards. Plan for the one-off ~2 ₳ stake-key registration deposit (refundable) plus ~0.2 ₳ transaction fee.

Can I unstake or change pools?

Yes. Re-delegation to another pool is a single transaction (~0.2 ₳ fee). To recover the 2 ₳ registration deposit, de-register your stake key in your wallet.

Where is ADAOZ based?

ADAOZ is an Australian Cardano stake pool operated by Peter Bui from Bundall on the Gold Coast, Queensland. The pool serves delegators worldwide.

What is the ADAOZ pool ID?

The ADAOZ pool bech32 ID is pool1vev8z03vh7jwx3mfrgzrt9fltt97nupaxv8ffj4r5r8mgwts5ze. Always verify the pool ID before delegating — anyone DMing you about delegation is a scammer.
